When the opening approaches!
Bientôt le 1er mai !
Spring is here, and so is the opening.
We’re in the home stretch, so we’ve got to get out there and do as much as we can. There’s so much to do, and we’d love to be able to do so much more. Projects, ideas, enthusiasm and energy, there’s no shortage of anything except time! But it’s great to see the campsite taking shape every day.
The chalets are in place and the trenches have been filled in. At the end of February, Paul and I moved into a chalet, a little high up, but what a view. Beyond the campsite, filled with the leaves and greenery of spring and its thousands of daisies, there’s the sea and the sunsets; it’s impossible to get enough of them.
In the end, the chalets fit in well, so there were no nasty surprises.
Then it was on to the reception algeco, starting with the exterior, with its attractive wood cladding. Then we cleaned up the inside to welcome Cyrielle, our trainee. Then came the refurbishment, and we’re almost there.
The campsite has also been equipped with brand new sanitary facilities!
